Research Day: Working in Inclusive Ways Tweet
This is an action research session, where participants who
have something to contribute to the pot are invited to work alongside
facilitators to design and shape a session and resource about working in inclusive ways: understanding exclusion,
discrimination and disadvantage. Following this session, the facilitators will
take away the material and develop a programme and resource for delivery in March 2012.
To contribute to this session you need to:
- Have some existing
knowledge of equalities issues in general and current legislation
- Be willing to take
part and be an active participant
- Understand training
and facilitation
- Be involved in the
VCS or public sector.
We want to avoid emphasis on any one specific equalities issue as this is about an overview of exclusion, discrimination and disadvantage
